Minjung is Spark Montessori’s Toddler Program Director and Lead Guide for the T1 classroom. She provides support and consistency across all toddler classrooms while mentoring her team and building a strong sense of community. Minjung fell in love with Montessori after having her first daughter and joined Spark just as it opened, bringing with her a deep passion for helping toddlers grow and supporting families as they navigate early childhood.
Minjung holds a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from Gangneung-Wonju National University in South Korea and studied in the Master’s program at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia. She brings her love of music, harmony, and culture into the classroom.
Outside of Spark, she enjoys traveling and exploring Chicagoland with her husband and two daughters, who are also part of the Spark community.
